Description
This special issue of the ACCUS brings together a curated selection of high-impact papers presented at the Middle East Oil & Gas Show (MEOS GEO 2025). The issue aims to showcase cutting-edge research, innovative technologies, and strategic insights that support the world’s evolving energy landscape, with a particular emphasis on energy transition pathways and carbon dioxide (CO₂) storage solutions.
This special issue will feature studies that explore subsurface characterization, reservoir modeling, monitoring technologies, and risk assessment for safe and efficient geological CO₂ storage. It will also showcase contributions that integrate geoscience, reservoir engineering, data analytics, and environmental science to address the complex challenges of transitioning to low-carbon energy systems.
